Nora’s Triathlon Triumph

Meet our heroine, Nora Millar – cyclist, runner and swimmer at the Blenheim Triathlon 2021, in aid of the library. She completed all three events in just 1 hour 39 minutes – in her first ever triathlon! Nora’s achievement is all the more amazing as she had tendonitis in the run up to the big day.

Her least favourite out of the three events? “Probably cycling, I do prefer a stationary bike!”

And how did Nora feel at the finish line? “I was ecstatic. Amazing to be around so many people finishing on a high!”

Nora says she dedicated her extraordinary sporting challenge to the library because: “The library is very important to our community – everyone should have the option to read books! I hope that can continue for years to come.”
