Learn Life Saving Skills – FREE CPR and Defib Training

The London Ambulance Service is coming to Kensal Rise to offer free training in life saving skills. It only takes 15 minutes and no need to book – just come by the library on the day between 10 and 3 PM.

76 per cent of cardiac arrests happen in the home, by learning some simple skills, you could save someone you love.  Cardiac arrest is when a person’s heart stops beating and stops pumping blood and oxygen around the body. At the moment fewer than one in 10 people survive a cardiac arrest. Early CPR and defibrillation can more than double someone’s chances of survival. Both of these can be done by a member of the public before the ambulance service arrives.

Life savers are life changers.
