Kensal Rise Community Library is thrilled to host the powerful “Human Rights Today” exhibition, celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Council of Europe! This unique showcase features thought-provoking artworks from asylum seekers, refugee artists, and local youth in Brent, brought together by WE RESTART Charity.
🌍 Exhibition highlights include:
- “Sudan: Stolen Dreams” by Maisson Hassan
- “Right to Equality” by Sareh Moradi
- “Unhomed” by Olga Kuznetsova
Maisson Hassan was an artist before she was Sudan’s UN Ambassador, and continues to paint as a refugee in the UK, having fled her country. Olga Kutznetsova, who has fled Belarus, is showing work that explores the interior landscape of a forced migrant. There is also a piece by Sarah Moradi and Brent Youth.
